[ubuntu] Palm Centro Sync

As of today (11/11/08), after a udev update, I can sync my palm centro by doing the following:

Open Evolution
Open the "synchronization options" under "edit"
Press the sync button on my USB cable

I got rid of any mods to the modules file/ udev file etc. My system should be like stock install.

I set the options to USB and usb:


I still have to open the "Synchronzation Options" after every reboot to get gpilot running for a sync.

Maybe one day Ubuntu Gnome will smoothly support the ultra modern Palm Pilot devices…
