[ubuntu] Alsa -> Jack redirect problems
I’m quite new to linux and want to install my firewire audio card. It’s an Onyx Firewire Option Card.
I can get it to work with Jack, so far so good. So i can play any audio file with : "mplayer -ao jack"
Now i want to redirect my ALSA output to Jack so I can hear everything through my Jack outputs.
I tried this asoundrc file: http://www.alsa-project.org/main/ind…rc#JACK_plugin
But it doesn’t seem to work.
Has anybody any suggestions?
